The impending American Revolutionary War looms over season six of Starz’ Outlander, as the series picks up where it left off in season five.
Claire Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) are building a life in colonial North Carolina.
Season six is adapted from the sixth novel, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, in the best-selling Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Starz also has picked up a seventh season of the show.
Outlander is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, For All Mankind), Matthew B. Roberts, Maril Davis, Toni Graphia, Andy Harries and Jim Kohlberg. It’s produced by Tall Ship Productions, Left Bank Pictures and Story Mining & Supply Company in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Outlander returns for season six on Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
