The coronavirus pandemic may have put a stop to live entertainment, but Freeform—like many musicians around the world—are taking to Instagram Live to preserve the live concert experience and keep fans entertained.

The bi-weekly concert series, “#StaytheFFHome Live Music Showcase,” highlights Freeform talent and features performances from musicians who have been featured in the network’s shows.

Katie Stevens, star of The Bold Type, hosted the first edition on Freeform’s Instagram page on Friday at 1 p.m. It featured performances and conversations from previous performers on the series—Lennon Stella, K.Flay and Betty Who—ahead of the show’s season four premiere on June 11.

The new initiative expands on the network’s multiplatform social distancing campaign, which encouraged people everywhere to #StaytheFFHome. The campaign comprises out-of-home, on-air and social PSAs featuring its talent and repurposed footage from hit shows like Everything’s Gonna Be Okay and Good Trouble.
