Hungry Sons of Anarchy fans can fuel up for the next installment of Kurt Sutter’s motorcycle drama, Mayans M.C., with food and fare from Trejo’s Tacos and Trejo’s Coffee & Donuts.
FX is partnering with actor Danny Trejo to offer tacos and other treats from south of the border at his Trejo’s Tacos cantinas in Hollywood, Pasadena and Woodland Hills and its fast-casual locations in La Brea and at USC. In addition, Trejo’s Coffee & Donuts in Hollywood will offer a custom, limited-edition donut, the Trejo’s Mayans M.C. Donut.
Mayans M.C.-themed trucker hats will also be given out with any Trejo’s Tacos purchase at the La Brea, USC and Hollywood locations while supplies last. To order, download Postmates on iOS or Android or visit Postmates.com.
The partnership starts Monday and runs for two weeks — through Labor Day until the following Monday, Sept. 10.
Fans who don’t drive or whose chopper’s in the shop can order Mayan M.C.-themed treats from Postmates and have them delivered for free between Friday, Aug. 31 and Thursday, Sept. 6.
Taking place after the events of Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C. follows Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) after he gets out of prison and becomes a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the California/Mexico border. EZ must carve out a new identity in a town where he was once the golden boy.
Mayans M.C. also stars Clayton Cardenas, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, and Danny Pino. Recurring stars include Emilio Rivera, Frankie Loyal, Joseph Lucero, Vincent Rocco Vargas, Maurice Compte, Gino Vento, Tony Plana and Ada Maris.
The series was co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. Norberto Barba directs the first two episodes. It’s executive produced by Sutter and Barba, with James as co-executive producer. The 10-episode first season is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.
Mayans M.C. premieres Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
