In MTV’s first ever midterm election voting initiative, the network encourages viewers both to vote and to bring a plus one to the polls.

This collaboration combined footage from the polls directed by Cause + Effect Executive Creative Director Bex Schwartz intercut with MTV’s youth culture library and stock footage.

The spot also features the voiceover talents of Fat Joe, Lauren Jauregui, Adam Rippon and Jared Leto, and aired during the MTV Video Music Awards on August 20.
