In Apple TV+‘s latest original—Defending Jacob, starring Chris Evans and Michelle Dockery—a child is accused of a heinous crime and after going through the grueling process, even his parents are questioning his innocence.

Los Angeles-based design studio Yu+Co encapsulated that uncertainty in its stark, mostly black-and-white main titles for the series.

Defending Jacob premiered April 20 on Apple TV+.
