Australia’s free-to-air channel, SBS World Movies, deploys expert editing to lure people to their 7:30 p.m. movie, which airs every night on the channel.

The spot also showcases the channel’s new look, for which it took inspiration from the zoetrope, a pre-film animation device that produced the illusion of motion. The device’s vertical windows create the echoed and staggered image, which the spot’s editors explore.

SBS World Movies relaunched on July 1.
