With one divorced and one widowed, acting coach Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas) and his agent and friend Norman Newlander (Alan Arkin) are finding they have to lean on each other as they enter a new phase of life.
Sandy is dating a new woman (Nancy Travis), while working on his relationship with his daughter, Mindy (Sarah Baker). Norman is grieving the death of his wife, trying to reconcile with his rebellious adult daughter (Lisa Edelstein) and rekindling an old love affair with a past flame (Jane Seymour).
Besides Seymour, Paul Reiser and Jacqueline Bisset also join the cast in season 2, with Reiser playing Mindy’s new boyfriend and Bisset playing Sandy’s ex-wife.
The Kominsky Method, created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, returns to Netflix on Oct. 25. Lorre executive produces with Al Higgins and Douglas for Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
