Disney Channel kicked off the campaign for its latest original TV movie, Freaky Friday, with the above teaser trailer.
To achieve the 360-degree rotating effect, stars Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff were surrounded with 61 cameras, all of which were taking a single image at the same time. The result was a magical rendition of the “body swap”—a premise first introduced to audiences in the 1976 movie starring Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster, and repeated in the 2003 remake starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
