When life gives you a global pandemic, use remote video to create fun new content.

That’s been the lesson for much of TV during the time of coronavirus and here’s how NFL Media used it to create the above spot congratulating the NFL’s class of 2020. The spot shows the new NFL players passing, and then wearing, the hats of the teams that drafted them.

In a time without live sports, the virtual NFL draft reached a record 55 million viewers across the platforms of the NFL, ABC and ESPN, and gave fans and the new rookie class an unforgettable—if remote-only—experience.
