Fox and Warner Bros. Television Distribution teamed up to cross-promote Fox’s new multi-camera comedy, Call Me Kat. The new sitcom stars Mayim Bialik, who played Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory, and is executive produced by her Big Bang co-star, Jim Parsons.

To promote Call Me Kat, Fox and Warner Bros. are running “The Genius of Amy Week,” across all 155 Fox affiliates that air The Big Bang Theory in national syndication, which accounts for nearly 70% of the show’s U.S. coverage. The week will feature 15 Amy-centric episodes from Big Bang, and within those episodes, promos for Call Me Kat will air, featuring Bialik.

Spots, like the one above, also will include quick promos for Call Me Kat.

Call Me Kat premiered Sunday, Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. on Fox, immediately following Fox’s NFL game of the week, and debuts in its regular time-slot of Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Jan. 7. On Sunday, the series opened to a household rating of 1.3 rating/7 share and 5.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen, making it the best broadcast comedy debut since ABC’s Schooled on Jan. 9, 2019. That was also the best original comedy rating since the series finale of ABC’s Modern Family on April 8, 2020, and was Fox’s highest-rated and most-watched comedy debut since The Cool Kids premiered on Sept. 28, 2018.
