Showtime has released the official trailer and key art for its four-part docuseries from Oscar-nominated directors Heidi Enwig and Rachel Grady.

Love Fraud follows the search for a man who conned dozens of women in the Midwest for 20 years. After losing everything from their self-worth to their life savings, his victims work with bounty hunter Carla to seek revenge and justice for his wrongdoings.

Love Fraud is a sublime blend of true crime, female empowerment and an unnerving psychological portrait,” Vinnie Malhotra, executive vice president, nonfiction programming at Showtime Networks Inc., said in a statement. “Heidi and Rachel have turned the true crime genre on its head with this revenge tale full of eccentricities that ring both haunting and, in some cases, amusing.”

Grady and Ewing are co-directors of Oscar-nominated Jesus Camp, Emmy-nominated The Boys of Baraka, and more. Love Fraud marks their first episodic project.

Love Fraud premieres Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Check out the key art:
