Netflix’s makeover show, Queer Eye, goes international when it returns for a new four-episode special: Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!
The mini-series, premiering Nov. 1, brings the Fab Five to Tokyo “to make-better four heroes while experiencing Japanese cuisine, fashion, design, grooming and culture firsthand,” according to Netflix.
The streamer released the trailer on social media, which shows a text exchange between the group and model/actor Kiko Mizuhara as they make the decision to go international. It also teases a special appearance by Japanese comedian Naomi Watanabe.
In a separate post, Netflix’s “See What’s Next” Twitter account unveiled a preview of the season.
Season four, which premiered in July, featured Jonathan Van Ness revisiting his high school to help one of his childhood heroes. As previously announced, season five will be set in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when it premieres in 2020.
