Basketball is officially back, and to kick off the NBA season Nike revealed its short film Want it All about the rise of a player named Dante Grand.
“In the film, a young kid with big ambitions sees his future play out before his eyes,” Nike says. He goes from dribbling along neighborhood streets to shooting hoops on NBA courts in a piece that hypes up the season’s start.
“Want It All is about hustle, confidence and style at every level of the game,” according to Nike.
The film features appearances by LeBron James, on whose career the story seems inspired, along with players Kevin Durant and Paul George.
Want it All premieres Tuesday, October 17, during the opening game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics at 8 p.m.
