Global entertainment marketing association Promax revealed finalists for the 2019 Promax Latin America and US Hispanic Awards on Thursday. Winners of both competitions will be announced November 14.
Companies leading the awards—which honor the finest work in television promotion, marketing and design in both Latin America and targeting Hispanic culture in the U.S.—are NBCUniversal International Networks, the Walt Disney Company Latin America, and the Viacom Agency.
Other entertainment brands with multiple nominations include A&E Latin America, CNN Worldwide and Telemundo Enterprises.
“Television is getting ever more competitive, and as a result, so is marketing,” said Promax President and CEO Steve Kazanjian in a statement. “We saw the product of that heightened state in this year’s Latin America and US Hispanic finalists. All of the work is excellent across the board and we are so proud to honor it.”
Finalists for the Promax Latin America and US Hispanic Awards are voted on by an online jury after companies submit their entries, with winners selected via in-person peer-based juries. This year’s finalists were announced at a Promax Latino 2019 event in Miami on Thursday, hosted by Cesar Sabroso, senior vice president, marketing at A&E Latin America.
To celebrate the 2019 Promax Latino Awards, the Los Angeles-based association is holding three events in three key markets: Miami on Oct. 3, Buenos Aires on Oct. 15, and São Paulo on Oct. 29. Winners of the Promax Latin America Awards and US Hispanic Awards will be announced Nov. 14.
