In season two, everyone is working toward their ultimate goals of money, power, and influence as the show enters 1984.Young street entrepreneur Franklin (Damon Idris) is starting to experience the perils of success, CIA operative Teddy (Carter Hudson) finds his off-book drug-funded operation may be vulnerable from unexpected sources, and the drug-running couple, Gustavo (Sergio Peris-Mencheta) and Lucia (Emily Rios), discover the potency of crack and try to exploit it.
Snowfall is from creators John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, who executive produce along with Thomas Schlamme, Michael London and Trevor Engelson. Andron serves as showrunner.
The series returns July 19 on FX.
