The most wonderful time of the year comes earlier every year with Hallmark getting started way back in July. That said, mid-November through Christmas Day is prime time for holiday programming, with things really starting to kick into high gear around Thanksgiving in the U.S.
Below is a list highlighting many of November’s new holiday-themed series and specials. Holiday programming powerhouses such as Hallmark Channel, Freeform, Lifetime and Great American Channel (GAC) are not included here due to those networks’ sheer volume of holiday-themed content. But we have no judgment for those of you who want to grab a cup of cocoa, snuggle under a blanket and watch Hallmark holiday movies all weekend long. And we’re not gonna lie – we’re pretty excited for such original films as Apple TV Plus’ Spirited starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell in an A Christmas Carol update and Disney Plus’ Disenchanted, starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey. We’ve also been known to queue up a Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings marathon around this time of year.
Ho ho ho and let Brief be among the first to wish you happy holidays. Watch this space for a Christmas and winter holiday-themed list coming next month.
