Star Plus India’s creative team approached Mathematic to produce new idents for their latest rebrand. A Hindi language entertainment television channel and part of 21st Century Fox’s STAR India network, Star Plus also worked with London-based brand agency VentureThree to create the look.

The idea was to show female empowerment via the stars of Star Plus’ newest TV series. Using light, MTC developed differing visual identities for each of the characters. The characters varied from a warrior princess, a young child struggling with society’s acceptance and a young modern Indian woman living life by her own rules.

Visual effects were created using Houdini and Nuke, with final effects added in Flame.
