Hulu is inviting TV and movie fans to “check in to their obsessions” in a new marketing campaign and activation featuring the Hulu Motel – a takeover of the actual Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel in Studio City.
The campaign kicked off with the above national :30 spot along with some :15s that take viewers on a tour of the motel with more spots coming soon. Featured series and films include The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building, Bob’s Burgers, Atlanta, The Great, The Kardashians, Mayans M.C., Fire Island, and more.

From June 23-25, fans can check in to check out the motel’s lobby, rooms and pool area, where they will find easter eggs, sets, costumes and more from their favorite Hulu shows. Interested 18-and-older visitors need to make reservations online (and provide proof of full vaccination or negative COVID test upon entry). Food and drink will be available for purchase on site.
