A fawn and a wolf cub, both lost in a snowstorm, form an unlikely pair who must work together to find their respective families in the coming Nintendo Switch co-op game, Blanc. Nintendo announced the game at Tuesday’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, which was held virtually.
The game – from Frisco, Texas-based Gearbox Publishing and Nantes, France-based Casus Ludi, is set in a snowy wilderness that was hand-drawn on paper before being converted into 3D animation. It features text-free gameplay that requires two players to coordinate closely with each other, whether next to each other on the couch or in entirely different countries.
Blanc is coming to Nintendo Switch in February 2023.
