In what’s become a bit of a tradition, Los Angeles-based Ringer created Dish’s annual promo for its holiday app during “The Merriest Month of Dish.”

Using nostalgic animated scenes, the spot features such classic Christmas characters as a snowman leaning back in his recliner; a pair of Santa’s reindeer enjoying Dish’s festive “Dishscapes” – Santa’s Workshop and Christmas Village; a trio of elves flambeing marshmallows by the Yule log; and Santa himself dancing to one of Dish’s more than 12 holiday music channels.

“The idea that stuck was the biggest one we pitched. It features a handful of classic holiday characters, each shown in their respective homes, enjoying their favorite holiday entertainment on the app,” said Ringer Founder Rob Meltzer.
