President Selina Meyer is trying to “look presidential,” hooking up with John Slattery (Mad Men), and juggling Chinese hackers and an economic crisis as Veep returns April 24.

The first full trailer for season five of HBO’s Emmy-winning political comedy picks up where season four left off as Selina and her less-than-competent staff brainstorm how to break a tied election between President Meyer (Julia Louis-Drefus) and Senator Bill O’Brien (Brad Leland).

Scenes also show a photo-op gone wrong with members of an Olympic kayak team, and Louis-Drefus explaining “I’m not that kind of a president” to Slattery, right before asking him where her shoes are following a bedroom rendezvous.

Veep creator Armando Iannucci left the show after season four, and the series is now being led by David Mandel of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Season five stars Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Sufe Bradshaw and Gary
