A cohort of celebrities fights to remain in the challenge in Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
In season two, 14 celebrities head to New Zealand where they must endure winter warfare training in the country’s rugged and freezing mountains. Among the difficult tasks they must undergo – all adapted from Special Forces’ training – are walking on a thin and flimsy bridge across a high mountain chasm, sliding down a steep wall, being submerged in a sinking vessel and diving into freezing cold water.
Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant; ex-NBA player Robert Horry; Olympic speed skater Erin Jackson; Olympic downhill skier Bode Miller; reality TV stars Tyler Cameron, Savannah Chrisley, Tom Sandoval and Nick Viall; actor Brian Austin Green; media personality Jack Osbourne; actresses Blac Chyna, Tara Reid and Kelly Rizzo; and actress, singer, dancer and social-media star JoJo Siwa; are overseen by a directing staff of Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and new agent, Jovon “Q” Quarles, all of whom are ex-special forces operatives.
Besides being physically challenged to the extreme, the participants also struggle with the emotional issues that surface during the tough training. There’s no cash prize at the end, just bragging rights, and the only way for the recruits to leave is to give up, through failure or potential injury, or to be asked to depart by the directing staff.
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test returns for season two on Fox September 25.
