CNN talent got to live their dreams of being late-night talk-show hosts in the news network’s campaign for upcoming docuseries, The Story of Late Night.

Working with frequent partner creative agency Known, Anderson Cooper gets applause and laugh tracks, Erin Burnett gets her own house band and Don Lemon gets his own Paul Shaffer.

CNN also collaborated with Boston-based Viewpoint Creative on the above spot that walks viewers through the history of late-night TV from Johnny Carson to David Letterman to Conan O’Brien to Jon Stewart to Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon. Each era is accompanied by its own TV set in a room from the era.

The Story of Late Night premieres on CNN on Sunday, May 2.
