Such is the passion for HBO’s global hit, Game of Thrones, that the network can release a teaser trailer with no new footage and no cast members and still get fans totally hyped.
In the official teaser trailer for the show’s upcoming eighth and final season, ice rolls down from the north to cover the map of Westeros that lies on Dragonstone’s Painted Table, freezing the dire wolf of the Starks and the dragon of Daenerys Targaryen on its way down the continent. Fire rises up to meet it, burning down the Lannister lion.

Game of Thrones returns for its final six episodes in April.
