When someone goes missing, every second counts.
Fox’s new series, Alert, starring Hawaii 5-O’s Scott Caan as police officer Jason Grant, is set in the midst of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Person’s Unit (MPU). The team explodes into high alert the minute someone is reported missing. In addition to the series’ week- to-week cases, the show also follows Grant and his ex-wife Nikki Batista’s (Devious Maids‘ Dania Ramirez) search for their own missing son. Besides Caan and Ramirez, the series also stars Adeola Role (The Blacklist), Ryan Broussard (Only Murders in the Building) and Graham Verchere (Stargirl).
The above spot previewed the new series in Tuesday night’s Game 3 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, which is tied up 1-1.
Alert comes from executive producers Jamie Fox and John Eisendrath (The Blacklist), who also serves as showrunner. It’s co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment. Datari Turner, J.R. Orci, Adam Kane and Michael Offer also executive produce.
Alert premieres Sunday, January 8 after NFL on Fox.
