Earth is a mess, and God (Steve Buscemi) has pretty much checked out and is ready to blow up the planet in TBS’ heaven-set workplace comedy Miracle Workers.
Based on the book What in God’s Name by Simon Rich, who serves as a creator and executive producer of the series, it stars Daniel Radcliffe as Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers.
To prevent Earth’s destruction, he and and fellow angle Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help tow humans fall in love.
The series also stars Karan Soni as Sanjay, God’s right-hand man.
Miracle Workers is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer of Michaels’ Broadway Video, along with Rich, Radcliffe and Buscemi. Broadway Video produces the series in association with Turner’s Studio.
Miracle Workers premieres February 12 at 10:30 p.m. on TBS
