British actor Idris Elba pops in and out of some of Netflix’s and Sky’s most popular television series—including Netflix’s The Crown and Stranger Things and Sky’s Game of Thrones—in this spot promoting the launch of Netflix on Sky Q as well as the introduction of the Sky VIP loyalty program.

Sky Q is Sky’s latest and highest-end package, offering customers multi-room receivers that allow them to start a show in one room and finish in another. The platform also lets viewers watch in Ultra HD and offers six months of Spotify for free.

The campaign is the brainchild of agency Brothers & Sisters: “We had a lot of fun getting Idris to teleport seamlessly from a Sky show to a Netflix show and back again,” Aaron Willmer, the agency’s executive creative director, told The Drum. “Hopefully people enjoy watching it and marvel at the possibility of having both amazing content worlds at their fingertips.”

Besides starring in the multi-platform campaign spanning TV, out-of-home, radio and online, Elba also will be on hand to reward some of Sky’s most loyal viewers in person with gifts such as custom Sky Q deals and invitations to movie premieres.
