A new haunting is on its way.

Netflix announced the second season for its hit horror series The Haunting of Hillhouse, but it will look a little different than the first. Season two will have no connection to its predecessor, introducing a new story and location inspired by the Henry James novel, The Turn of the Screw.

With the series now labeled an “anthology,” Netflix released a teaser on Twitter offering clues to the new location, which can be heard if you “listen closely.”

The streamer also announced creator Mike Flanagan and executive producer Trevor Macy will return for the new installment after signing a multi-year overall deal with Netflix.

“Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are masterful at creating authentically frightening stories that leave audiences on the edge of their seats, but unable to look away,” Cindy Holland, vice president, original content at Netflix, said. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with them on The Haunting series and future projects to come.”

“Netflix has been an important part of our story, and we’re proud to have worked with them on The Haunting of Hill House, not to mention Gerald’s Game, Hush, and Before I Wake,” said Flanagan and Macy. “They’ve enabled and supported a great deal of our work and we look forward to much more.”

The Haunting of Bly Manor will debut in 2020 on Netflix.
