Paul Bettany and Claire Foy are English nobility going through a very messy divorce in the ‘60s in season two of Prime Video’s A Very British Scandal. Season one of the show scored reams of awards nominations for co-stars Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw.

In the three episodes, the Duke (Bettany) and Duchess (Foy) of Argyll work their way through “one of the most notorious, extraordinary and brutal legal cases of the 20th century,” according to Prime Video.

The series focuses on Margaret, who, “famed for her charisma, beauty, and style … dominated the front pages as a divorce featuring accusations of forgery, theft, violence, drug-taking, secret recording, bribery, and an explicit Polaroid picture [that] all played out in the white-hot glare of the 1960s media.”

Produced by Blueprint Pictures, A Very British Scandal will premiere Friday, April 22, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and can be viewed on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
