The Cody crime family turns on each other when season four of TNT’s Animal Kingdom returns Tuesday, May 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Animal Kingdom stars Ellen Barkin as Janine “Smurf” Cody, who operates as the family’s ruthless queenpin and that ruthlessness extends to her three sons: unstable Pope (Shawn Hatosy), drug-addict Craig (Ben Robson) and suspicious Deran (Jake Weary) and her grandson, J (Finn Cole).
Emily Deschanel (Bones) joins the cast as Angela and a new gang of rivals is introduced.
Animal Kingdom is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. John Wells and Eliza Clark serve as executive producers. Animal Kingdom was developed for television by Jonathan Lisco and inspired by the Australian feature film written and directed by David Michôd and produced by Liz Watts. Michôd and Watts also serve as executive producers.
