Food Network is supersizing its third season of Tournament of Champions, hosted by Guy Fieri. When these 32 highly competitive chefs face off, sparks fly, and Los Angeles-based creative agency AV Squad captures it all in the above spot
Season-one champion (and Top Chef winner) Brooke Williamson and defending champ Maneet Chauhan take on top-level chefs from both the East and the West Coast. Joining Chauhan from the East Coast are Eric Adjepong, Einat Admony, Karen Akunowicz, Kelsey Barnard Clark, Madison Cowan, Tobias Dorzon, Tiffani Faison, Darnell Ferguson, Amanda Freitag, Richard Hales, Christian Petroni, Michael Psilakis, Aarthi Sampath, Justin Sutherland and Bryan Voltaggio.
Joining Williamson from the West Coast are Carlos Anthony, Shirley Chung, Chris Cosentino, Tiffany Derry, Elizabeth Falkner, Phillip Frankland Lee, Timothy Hollingsworth, Antonia Lofaso, Crista Luedtke, Brian Malarkey, Aaron May, Joe Sasto, Jet Tila, Marcel Vigneron and Michael Voltaggio.
Each week, the chefs compete for a grand prize of $100,000 as they cook across four battles with the winner of each moving on. The dishes are blind-judged—the chefs don’t know who’s judging and the judges don’t even know who’s competing.
Fans are invited to vote as well via @FoodNetwork on Twitter. Once round one is complete, fans can build their own brackets and bet on who they think is going to win the grand prize. Starting March 20, everyone participating on Twitter will be entered for a chance to win prizes as well.
The third season of Food Network’s Tournament of Champions kicks off Sunday, February 27 at 8/7 c.
