To tease four-part documentary, The Life and Trials of Oscar Pistorius, Studio City, Calif.-based The Shop juxtaposes the image of the celebrated South African Paralympian sprinter against his involvement in the death of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, whom he shot four times through a bathroom door, saying he thought she was a burglar.

The Shop accompanied the spot with a pulsating track, a driving edit, and key sound bites to showcase how polarizing the story became, both in South Africa and around the world.

The Life and Trials of Oscar Pistorius airs as part of ESPN’s 30 for 30 series and is available to watch on ESPN+.
