There’s a certain mystique surrounding the Mexican drug lord El Chapo; a sort of Hollywood version of an old-school Mafioso: ruthless and enigmatic.
“He is a pop-culture character and millions are intrigued by his story,” said Univision, which is co-producing the series El Chapo with Netflix and Story House. “But how did he make the headlines?”
Univision’s three promos, “Behind the Shadows” (shown above), “Dark Beginnings” and “Bad Hombres” are part of a campaign that aims to unveil the story behind the mythology surrounding the infamous crime boss.
