With the new year comes new TV shows and January is chock full of new entries and returning favorites.

Perhaps the biggest premiere of the bunch is HBO’s much-anticipated The Last of Us, based on the videogame of the same name and starring Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The two play an unlikely duo making their way across the country after an apocalyptic fungus has turned most of the population into feral monsters. The cast is loaded, including turns from Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets, Candy), Nick Offerman (Parks and Rec, Devs), Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) and Anna Torv (Fringe).

Fox, which treats January like the start of its broadcast season, has two big drama premieres during the month: Alert on Sunday, January 8 and Accused on Sunday, January 22.

AMC and AMC Plus, which is just coming off some success with Interview with the Vampire, continues to roll out its Anne Rice universe with Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches starring The White Lotus’ Alexandra Daddario on Sunday, January 8.
